SHARISE M. HEMBY, LSW
Sharise M. Hemby is a licensed social worker and clinical therapist. She is co-owner of HandinHand Counseling Services, LLC, in Pittsburgh, Pa., where the mission is to promote hope, health and healing. Her 14 years of experience dealing with patients ranging from children to the elderly have given her unique perspectives in dealing with issues such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, ADHD, and depression, particularly in the African American community. Vitamin C: Healing for the Mind, Body and Soul, her first book, is a blueprint for healing along life’s journey and touches on those issues and more.
She's added Vitamin C: The Healing Workbook for the Mind, Body and Soul, which provides provocative questions, exercises and space for meditation at the end of each chapter to help readers work through their issues.
